Give Back to the Sport
There are no paid positions within the Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers organization. Our success is due to our various race sponsors and the efforts of our volunteers. Everything from weekend water duty to race aid stations, trail clean-ups, social events to the club-produced races are due to the club members who have stepped up to volunteer.
There are many ways to give back to the sport. Whether it be a monetary donation to support the running community or by providing your time and talents to the club.

Club Race Team
The success of the LGRAW club races is due to sponsorship and the countless volunteers. To put on a well-organized event we need everything from Race Directors, Course Marshals, registration, packet pick-up and food prep to aid station support, parking, race set-up and take down, etc.
INFORMATION BOOTH
Club Promotion
Throughout the year, LGRAW hosts an information booth at local events to promote the club and connect with potential members. We believe in showing that LGRAW is a welcoming community for all, helping to ease the intimidation of joining an established running group.
WATER DUTY
Become a
Hydration Hero
It's easy to become a Hydration Hero! Simply volunteer for weekend water duty. Water and Gatorade are set-up in two locations on the west course during the weekend runs and at the clubhouse. The jugs should be in place on the course by 7 AM and should remain there until at least 9 AM. You can do water duty solo or work in tandem with someone, one member puts out the jugs and the other picks them up.

Each quarter one lucky volunteer will receive a $50 Amazon gift card. An entry ticket to the drawing will be given for each time someone volunteers. The more you volunteer, the better your chances. You don't need to be present to win.
